Getting Ready for St. Patrick’s Day: Decorating Clovers

In my 20’s, St. Patrick’s day was look silly in green and pub night. Fish n’ Chips, beer and good times.

Now, I decorate clovers with my toddler while eating Cheerios. Either way, it’s still good times. Perhaps, on the day, we will all go out for some fish n’ chips together. Now that’s an idea.

Here’s what Els and I have been up to. Getting ready for St. Patty’s Day!

Inspired by Els’ art class. Just a ton of shiny baubles and things…

I cut up gold and green sparkly pipe cleaners. Collected some clover foam boards, gold coins, foam clovers, and little emerald looking gems.

Here’s Els taking this decorating thing very seriously. Exercising creativity, fine motor, concentration and all that good stuff.

I just squiggled some foam glue on top of the clovers and she had a great time sticking all her ornaments on top.

Must wait for the glue to dry… It should dry clear.
