Chocolate covered kiwi lollipops with sprinkles

We were actually really pressed for time, and frantically trying to get everything ready for our new year’s party, so this was the fastest and easiest dessert I could think of that would satisfy both kids and adults alike. The kiwis on sticks were a big hit with the kids. And the oranges with sea salt were a big hit with the grown ups. The strawberries were a hit with everyone, obviously.

The best thing about this dessert is that it’s super easy to make. All you need is:

Fruit – I used organic strawberries, kiwi and mandarin oranges.
Dark Chocolate – I used Guittard brand
Sprinkles (optional)
Sea Salt Flakes (optional)
Coconut Oil
Lollipop sticks

Just melt the chocolate with coconut oil on the stove using the double broiler method and simply dip, sprinkle and cool. Easy.

So the big question is, was anyone able to stay up until midnight?! I’m a night owl at heart, so I was up. But my husband was out like a light. *sigh.
