Colorful Rainbow No Carve Drip Paint Pumpkins
It’s pumpkin season! Everyone knows, that’s my favorite season. Because we LOVE decorating pumpkins.
These were so fun to make. All we needed was some acrylic paint and mini pumpkins. We got some in both white and orange. And we just simply poured paint on top of the pumpkin all around and let it drip, layering the paint as we went. We used rainbow colors for the one above.
For this one, my daughter’s 10 year old friend, painted the pumpkin pink and then poured pastel ‘unicorn’ colors with some silver sparkle.
We painted this one black and poured some white on top. The bottle was almost empty so we created this splatter effect by squirting the remains of the paint all around.
My daughter who’s 6, painted this one rainbow colors and then poured white paint on top.
We also painted the stems all gold. Because what’s a pumpkin without some gold?
So colorful and pretty.
This project is super simple to do, but can get a little messy, so just make sure to have something on the bottom to catch all the paint. And don’t forget to let it DRY completely before touching them.
Get creative and go crazy with paint! WE DID. Happy pumpkin month!
*We used mostly outdoor acrylic paint. Because we are planning to put them outside. You can find them at Michael’s or any art store. You can also buy similar ones here. (Affiliate link.)
