Let’s Celebrate New Year’s Eve
Happy New Year’s!
What a week! We had some friends over on New Year’s Eve for a little pre-celebration with the kids. And of course, I couldn’t have a party without something, so I made this:
Fun confetti bags.
(Paper bags, confetti, secured with washi tape).
Tissue paper crown hats.
(Leftover Christmas tissue paper. Cut out into a crown shape. Secured with glue on the ends. Folded neatly to fit in a bag).
(Small empty jewelry boxes. 79 cents at Michael’s. Popsicle sticks, or rather Coffee Bean stir sticks cut in half. Rice to fill).
And a bag of gems to decorate them with.
(I secured the lids on the boxes with a hot glue gun. And hot glue-gunned the sticks to the back of the box. I filled little cellophane bags with gems and a gold ribbon for the kids to decorate their own boxes with).
All in a silver and white polka-dotted box.
(Bought at World Cost Plus.)
Yippeeee! Guess what Els’ favorite part was? I mean, besides the breadsticks.
The confetti, of course. Mine… not so much.
Happy New Year, everyone.
